Known for bringing the Florida sunshine, Misty Drake is an American violinist and recipient of many awards in Florida. Ms. Drake has held a chair at The Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and The Orchestra Now, and was a three-time soloist with The Naples Philharmonic Orchestra. Misty is especially drawn to TV, film, and live theatre, where she finds joy in bringing the violin beyond the traditional concert hall. Her credits include Cirque du Soleil, Disney Cruise Line, Super Bowl LIV, Netflix, CBS and FOX Studios, and The Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra.

 

In 2016, Misty was named an Eastman Institute Arts Leadership Certificate Fellow and has expand her skill set through administrative positions at The Boston University Tanglewood Institute, Sarasota Youth Opera and The Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Ms. Drake holds degrees from The Eastman School of Music, and The University of Miami Frost School of Music (Teaching Assistant to Charles Castleman).
